About Me!
I'm Almond! Nice to meet you!
Born at the tail end of the 20th century, lost among the corn fields of Ohio, now found within messy HTML and crusty gifs. I'm here for fun and fun alone!
Fun facts about me!
- I've been using computers for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are playing educational games on my parents' Windows 98 PC. I could install programs from a disc before I could write my name! Now I actually work in IT, and while it's nowhere near as fun as Reader Rabbit, I owe a lot of my skillset to those EARLY early days.
- Coming from a pet free household, I was always fascinated by digital pets. I had a Tamagotchi and several Webkinz. I tried to get into Neopets but I was too young (read: stupid) to understand it, though I gained a lot of appreciation for it as an adult. I picked it up for about a year, accomplished some childhood goals, and promptly burnt out on it.
- I've been journalling semi-daily for 10+ years now! It actually makes it a bit difficult to write things I want other people to see... but I'll figure something out!
