Credits and Resources!
I couldn't have made this site without the help of some very talented individuals online.
First of all, very special thanks to sadgrl for being my introduction to the wonderful world of the indie web. My site's first layout came from her generator, and I learned a lot about the meat and potatoes of being a webmaster from her site.
The meat and potatoes of HTML/CSS on the other hand came mostly from W3 Schools. This is a great resource for learning how to code because of their incredibly comprehensive dictionary of tags and commands. They also have resources for learning Python, SQL, Javascript, and basically any other coding language you can imagine.
If you're thinking about making your own website, I highly recommend both of these sources; sadgrl for the philosophy and setup, W3 for the tools. You'll be well on your way from there.
Now for the rest...
PetraPixel - layout template and GitHub integration
Scripted Resources - scrollboxes and other code snippets
NeoCities - site hosting
VSCodium - my code editor of choice (but you do NOT need a fancy IDE to make a website!)
Specific widgets and graphics not made by me have been linked to their sources when possible!
